NPL Poker
Round up your pals for a card-playing session at The Norlane Hotel. Join us for our popular NPL poker games every Monday and Thursday lunchtimes. We've got cards and chips ready to go, so you can just arrive grab a cold one, order a counter meal, and play some poker.
Mondays 12:30pm for a 1pm start & 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
Thursdays 12:30pm for a 1pm start.
Oppy’s story
Sir Hubert Opperman, one of Australia’s first sporting legends, amazed the world with his cycling feats. Holding 101 track records for cycling, Oppy focused the world’s attention on Australia.
Known as a ‘Man of the People’, “Oppy” entered politics in 1949 as the minister for immigration holding the seat of Corio in Geelong from 1949 to 1966 and formally knighted by Buckingham Palace in 1968. Oppy gifted his Bicycle and a range of photographs to the Norlane Hotel and they are on display in our Venue.
